The photographic work of Jakub Polomski, began in 2005 when he portrayed the landscapes of Cieszyn, his hometown, and published his work on digital platforms. Jakub Polomski exalts the majesty of nature and reminds us how tiny we are when we come face to face with it, the magnitude of the landscape overwhelms the human.
His photographic series is called The Scale of Nature, it was taken in the Alps in France and Switzerland between 2008 and 2012. The contrast between black and white of his photographs makes them more powerful capturing the viewer from the start. The latest work of this young photographer is entitled Queens of Andes, held in March 2014 for a two-day trip to the National Park of Chile.
