The giant of computing, Google takes a step forward in technology, now for health. Google’s new project is a smart contact lenses made with a technology called “weareble computing”. These lenses are used to measure leg glucose levels through tears of patients suffering from diabetes. Babak Parviz and Brian Otis are the founders of this initiative. The lenses are composed of a wireless chip and a glucose sensor very small embedded between two layers – contact lens. Thus simultaneous readings are made. However in the future modernizations will plan these lenses.
