Inga Sempé is a French designer who likes to think and transform everyday items intelligently. Sensitive and personal, she is considered one of the best of the new generation. Inga is characterized by extreme care that gives the materials she works with. For her is important to balance between form and functionality. She does not seeks for trends or specific rules pursues because she likes to create her own system. Delicate and strong, her designs reflect her temperament, the of a nice woman in a subtle way, asexual and highly poetic. Inga studied at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Création Industrielle (ENSCI-Les Ateliers) in Paris, where she graduated in 1993. However, her training was more intense in the workshops of some of the most legendary designers, as Marc Newson, George Sowden and interior designer Andrée Putman. During her two years as a disciple of the latter, she discovered that her passion was definitely in industrial design. Her creations are signed by houses such as Baccarat, Edra, Ligne Roset, VIA, Moustache, Domestic, LK Hjelle, Artecnica, Cappellini and Luceplan, among others.
