The Ice Hotel is located in Sweden, 200 kilometers from the Arctic Circle, specifically in the town of Jukkasjärvi. It has 24 rooms built entirely of ice. To create it used 15,000 tons of snow and 500 more from the Torne River. The beds are frozen blocks which are placed on skin that provide heating. Despite being a very cold place, the building has heating so that the stay will not be uncomfortable. The Ice Hotel has the Legacy suite, inspired by the Tron river, designed by the architectural firm of Ian Douglas INDJ and illuminated by Rousseau Design. The hotel offers guided tours of the hotel, automotive polar safaris. The Ice Hotel rated as the best hotel of ice, other than to observe the Northern Lights best that nature offers.
