Located in the heart of the Canadian Rockies is the Glacier Skywalk Observatory. This great hall, which is set back 30 meters from the edge of the mountain, offers the sensation of being floating. The structure in the form of a half circle with transparent floors and railings, gives the impression that there is no barrier between one’s body and nature. The main building is made with wood, metal and glass to integrate its style with nature. Glacier Skywalk, which will be open to the public later this month, has no paint or any toxic material, so it is a site with zero carbon emissions.
