By exploring the continents and their countries, we can have an idea of what kind of food products highlighted in every part of the world, showing the complexities of each place. Photographer Henry Hargreaves and food decorator Caitlin Levin took as inspiration the places they have visited, to create Food Maps, a fun mapping which presents a series of photographs of continents, made with fresh food, typical of each region. Various types of grains were used for the United States, to New Zealand were employed colorful kiwis, while Britain was built with cookies. The creators explained that the project aims to show the viewer that food can bring people together, and also how certain ingredients can transform the cultural identity of a region. A very interesting proposal, both artistically as culinary.
