This year, for the first time Gaggan restaurant in Bangkok, is placed on the list of the 50 Best Restaurants in Asia (Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants 2014). Standing on 3rd, the restaurant known for its creative Indian cuisine, where are rescued classic recipes that reinterpret modern cooking techniques and even nitrogen and smoke is used to serve the dishes. The chef is Gaggan Anand, who also used humor in his menu dishes with names like Salad Green with envy. That sense of humor, coupled with creativity and taste of the dishes the restaurant has become one of the trendiest places in town. Its spectacular scenery impresses most diners, who can contemplate a modern decor in a classic building that rescues the history of the town.
