2005 was a great year for cinema with unforgettable films like Cinderella Man or the controversial Brokeback Mountain. For fans of Johnny Cash, was released the film Walk the Line with Joaquin Phoenix in the role of Cash and Reese Witherspoon as June Carter. But if we still don’t convince you, we leave here five clear examples of why this year was one of the best.
SIN CITY – FRANK MILLER / ROBERT RODRIGUEZ
In 2015, was released the second part of the adaptation of the graphic novel that shocked in theaters 10 years ago. How can we forget this film that explores Basin City through violence and corruption of three of its inhabitants.
STAR WARS: EPISODE III – GEORGE LUCAS
For those who do not know much of this saga that transcends generations, the phrase “In this film goes Yoda” is a great reference. But if they know of what we speak, it is Revenge of the Sith, starred by Hayden Christensen, Natalie Portman and Ewan McGregor.
V FOR VENDETTA – JAMES McTEIGUE
“Remember remember the fifth of november” is what we see every year in social networks during this day to remember the film starring by Natalie Portman, which shows the struggle against the oppression of a government in the future (not too distant).
BATMAN BEGINS – CHRISTOPHER NOLAN
It is the beginning of the trilogy directed by Nolan. In this version of the story, Batman (Christian Bale) completes his training and begins his fight against crime and the Scarecrow (Cillian Murphy) in Gotham.
MATCH POINT – WOODY ALLEN
One of our favorite of Allen. As always, caught us with one of his romantic and complicated stories, in which a former professional player of tennis (Jonathan Rhys Meyers) falls for a femme fatale (Scarlett Johansson) who is the girlfriend of his best friend.
