Witching & Bitching (Las brujas de Zugarramurdi in Spanish), is a funny story directed by the Spanish filmmaker Alex de la Iglesia, and starred by Hugo Silva,Mario Casas, Jaime Ordoñez and Carmen Maura, starts with the auto da fe performed by the Inquisition in 1610, where were processed and accused of witchcraft 39 villagers from the Zugarramurdi. The film starts begins when Jose and Tony, two unemployed with familiar duties to perform decide to rob a gold shop and then flee to France. The problem, besides the police are on their heels, is that they are retained – as they passed through Zugarramurdi –, by three witches who do not think to miss the opportunity to feast. Things get complicated with the police chase and an ex-wife who wants to get her son back.
