Amour is the latest creation from director Michael Haneke, winner of the Palme d’Or at Cannes and the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film, both in 2012. Austrian filmmaker movies were characterized by repeated exploration of violence, both physical and psychological. However, Amour recounts the last days of an elderly couple, retired music teachers, living in an apartment in Paris. Their life begins to change as the wife Anne disease progresses, who after an operation has been left with a stroke. Anne makes her husband promise that will not allow the back to stay at the hospital. Georges takes care of her while reaching the condition gradually, her limit and forces Georges to take the final decisions of her life.
