The architectural firm Studio Amatam, based in Lisbon, Portugal, has transformed the interior of a building in a fun space that seeks to foster the imagination of children. Located in a complex called Kalorias Health Club in Lisbon, this space used to have two large rooms and a long hallway, where were carried out corporate events. By changing the function of this space, it was necessary to redesign the concept: a place for children to enjoy the cultural and recreational activities. In this new distribution, was included a room to read, watch movies and do activities related to culture and learning. The other room is dedicated to the visual arts. There is also a playground and sports area. The structure remained the same, however, what changed was the interior design: colors, shapes, textures and graphics.
