The mountains, the forests, the ocean and the landscapes of Vancouver, which surrounded Lizzy Gadd while growing up, were her biggest inspiration to enter the world of photography. In 2007 she had her first encounter with photo, when she discovered her love to capture landscapes and animals. However, it was not until 2010, when doing a 365 project, in which took a daily self-portrait for a whole year, that she decided dedicate herself to the art. She also discovered and defined her style: landscapes enveloped by an ethereal atmosphere fused with people. This aesthetic is also based on Lizzy’s desire to convey interaction between human being and nature in a positive and inspiring way to all who look at her photos.
