An Elemental Thing, by American writer Eliot Weinberg, is one of this delicious books, were are present all writings forms: sweeping fiction landscapes, a necessary dose of poetry and the deep and relevant reflection of literary essay. An Elemental Thing is a book that speaks of the most recurrent symbols, from vortex figure, to the footprints of camels in the desert, as lotus, rhinos and one another saint of the Middle Ages. This story is also impregnated by a magic realism hue because, besides of being essayist and journalist, is the translator of Octavio Paz and Vicente Huidobro to the English, as well as from other authors, fundamental in Latin American literature.
