Elene Usdin is a France-based artist who began as an illustrator and in 2012 arose her passion for photography after purchasing a camera. Elene, having purchased this camera thought it was the best way to experiment and create with full control, whereas her first photographs were self-portraits. Elene Usdin images are the theater of her own fantasies that reveal the privacy of her own history. She is a member of the collective Hartland Villa, has published her illustrations in several international journals and has also created children’s books. Elene tells stories in spaces in each of her images with elements that reveal unconscious traits, such as dolls, masks or mattresses.
