DÜRER, MICHELANGELO AND REMBRANDT MEET IN VIENNA

The Albertina Museum, in Vienna, will display for the first time in a decade, a section of its collection, which includes masterpieces from  artists from Albrecht Dürer, Michelangelo and Rubens, up to Caspar David Friedrich and Rembrabdt. The curatorial line of this exhibition is based is the life of the founders and owners of the Albertina Museum, Duke Albert of Saxe-Teschen, who gives his name to the museum, and the Archduchess Maria Cristina of Hapsburg. The exhibition presents, through works of art the life of Austrian nobles, and their love of art and politics, in one of the most turbulent times, but also more generous from the European art.
