Born in 1977 in Zurich, Switzerland, David Renggli lives and works between this city and Texas. His paintings transform everyday objects into fragile and poetic strokes of color. These works often play with the thin line that distinguishes conservation deterioration. His first work Who Was First (2005), consists of several elements immersed in formalin. His artistic goal is to offer a disturbing perspective on our daily way of seeing life.
