CREATIVE CUISINE OF THE FAT DUCK RESTAURANT

The restaurant The Fat Duck is located in Bray, Berkshire, England. The establishment opened its doors in 1995, in a big house of the 16th-Century. In the beginning, the restaurant had a French kitchen, but now The Fat Duck is known for serving dishes using the principles of molecular gastronomy. The chef and owner of the restaurant, Heston Blumenthal creates an unusual cuisine, which includes bacon ice cream, mustard ice cream, a soup inspired by the movie “Alice in Wonderland” and a dish called “Sounds of the sea”. In addition, the restaurant has an interesting laboratory where a team of chefs prepare new culinary concepts. Although the reviews have been mixed, in 2004 the restaurant received three Michelin stars. In 2012 and 2013, a renowned specialist magazine awarded second place in the best restaurants in the UK.

CHEF ON HESTON BLUMENTHAL

Usually, Heston tops the list of the best chefs in the world, along with Ferran Adrià. However, over the years, the reputation of this chef has increased its scientific approach to gastronomy.
