There are becoming more and more projects that advocate for environmental conservation and the use of natural resources. The Clearpoint Residencies is a great example of this. This is the highest vertical garden in the worl. This plan will be developed in Sri Lanka by Milroy Perera Associates. It will be a 46-story building , which will have solar panels and a system of wastewater recycling. In addition, plants will be automatically watered by a drip irrigation system that will reuse rain water. Clearpoint Residencies will have 164 apartments of 213 square meters each, with solar panels that will provide energy to generate lights throughout. Each terrace will host a lot of plants and therefore they will birng shadow which will prevent the heating within each apartment. Thus, the energy usually consumed by the air conditioning would be reduced. The project aims to bring urban life one step further, according to its creators ; while trying to maintain balance with the environment around it.
