This building, besides being the junction point between the center of Saint-Etienne and the new neighborhood Chateaucreux in France, aims to combine attractive and contemporary architecture with maximum functionality. The most notable feature is the unique design of the facade. In this yellow building with large windows are several government offices such as the Development Authority, Regional Services Tax, the Epora, and the Saint-Etienne Métropole, among others. It also has a section for restaurants and cafes. Its designer, Manuelle Gauntrand, contemplated the idea of developing a long built in the form of “continuum” on the site to interact with adjacent streets.
