Christopher Jeanney is an architect, designer and composer, whose work is based on experiment unexpected fusions between sound, color and architecture. Harmonic Convergence is part of the series of musical urban projects, consisting of an installation of 72 glass mosaics of all colors, which cover a wall of a hallway in the Miami International Airport, representing an abstraction of life in South Florida. Upon entering this section of the airport, one can hear a recording which sounds reproducing the natural life of Miami (from crickets to the breaking waves). With this permanent installation, Janney aims to offer visitors an artistic experience as part of their daily lives, such as are the architecture and the landscape.
