The author believes that the portraits are mementos in the lives of people, part of their history and culture witness reports. Through this discourse, he presents an exhibition where images of children found on a wall smiling. Each box has a light that illuminates the faces and emphasizes the smile. Many children who are portrayed have been victims of war. Christian Boltanski adds to photographs, elements such as hearing aids or other objects that give personality to each individual who appears in them.
