Chocolate Smoke Gang will perform at the Tamayo Museum on Wednesday May 7, an ensemble of free avant-garde jazz founded in 2008, conducted by the composer and improviser Carlos Maldonado , aka “malcisne” and for his work in Los Dorados. The septet is comprised of musicians from different generations and latitudes that are a fundamental part of the jazz scene in Mexico, who play between the frontiers of free improvisation and/or controlled. Chocolate Smoke Gang invite the audience to immerse themselves in the universe of their improvisational live performances.
