Chaoyang Park Plaza raises in the central business district of Beijing. Designed by Ma Yansong, from the firm MAD architects, this place explores the connection between nature and architecture, creating a dialogue between man-made structures and their immediate context. The proposal of these buildings was developed two years ago, but now starts its construction in Chaoyang, Beijing. Strategically placed on the south side of the square, on the banks of Chaoyang Park (one of the largest parks of the city), the project covers 120,000 square meters and will house offices, residences and shops. The proposal is inspired by classical Japanese painting, where the landscapes are highlighted in black ink.
