The president of Wealth Advisory Services and founding partner of Callia Art Fund, Carmen Reviriego, is author of El laberinto del arte, as she says, came up with the purpose of providing answers and bring the art world to people interested on it. It also addresses the art market by approaching to a procedural commercial line, that goes from the studio/workshop of the artist to the galleries, auction houses, private collections and museums.
What’s behind the figures in the art world? What motivates buyers? Is the passion? The money? What is between the time that the artist creates something and that “something” comes to be sold in a gallery or an auction? What value, beyond the material, actually has a piece? These are some of the questions El laberinto del arte seeks to answer, book to be presented at Zona MACO 2015, and currently can be purchased in bookstores.
