Typography is one of the most versatile and complex design expressions. It is also an exciting way to record times and acclimate spaces, being a suggestive way to convey visual messages. The Berlin Buchstabenmuseum (Museum of Letters in Berlin) was founded in 2005 and reopened in December 2013. The place houses a collection of signs and letters, regardless of their language of origin. Barbara Dechant and Anja Schulze are those who have dedicated themselves to collect letters of ads throughout Germany and Austria, objects whose first target was garbage containers. Pieces which, thanks to them, have gotten a second wind. The Museum of Letters in Berlin, as well as being an excellent proposal art-object, is the dream of many designers and amateurs of typography.
