The architecture firm Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG) has been commissioned by TLDC, a development company with offices in Taipei, to build an impressive residential project in Hualien, Taiwan, where it was formerly considered an industrial area. The transformation of an industrial region in an area of the first level has surprised the people of the region. This coastal residential complex will focus on highlighting the nature, so it will have great views. The project known as Hualien Residencies, seeks to fuse the western mountains, with the easter ocean. The plan incorporates an area of apartments, but also a shopping area with many natural spaces. On the roof, the spaces will have green areas to generate heat within the residences.
