Bio Istanbul Campus – Office and R&D Campus is a sustainable city designed by the Austrian firm Architektur AllesWirdGut. Over an area of 44,000 m2, the architectural firm proposes to Bio City Development Company in Istanbul Turkey, this unique solution to reduce the impact to the environment and minimize energy expenditure requirements and air pollution. The design competition in 2012 proposed a concept that will minimize power consumption using sunscreens, also suggests an efficient management of air and water heating system through radiation.
AllesWirdGut has been concerned about transportation, recognizing its negative impact on almost any city on the planet. The areas that will not be very large also help save energy, together with the use of organic waste, reducing air conditioning and improved water treatment.
