Ben Sandler is a philosopher and photographer, born in Israel in 1985. He spent his professional training in the United States between Ohio and Arizona desert. After studying philosophy, he moved to Florence and then to Nice and to Paris, places where he learned photography. Since then he divided his time between Paris and Amsterdam, dedicated to photography, film and digital projects. One of his most impressive photo projects is Badlands, which was born of Sandler’s fascination for magic and strange desert landscapes, which he experienced in Arizona. In these images we can see the different layers and formations among the desert land and sky. In Sandler’s photos, appear geometric structures, placed by the same photographer in the desert, which produce an almost futuristic result.
