Called Australia 108, the building was designed by Nonda Katsalindis, architect from visionary studio Fender Katsalidis Architects. The skyscraper will be the tallest in the Southern Hemisphere, and will be located in the Southbank area, few blocks from other tall buildings like Eureka Tower. It will host a hotel with 300 luxurious rooms and apartments; on floor level it will have a café and the top will be destined to restaurants and bars. With 388 meters high and 108 story, its design is inspired by stars of Australian flag, and its predicted that the construction would end in 2018.
