The 32nd edition of ARCOmadrid is close. Organized by IFEMA -Madrid Fair Institution-, from February 13 to 17. This large fair will have a selection of national and international galleries. It turns Madrid environment in an attractive reunion space with the most important collectors, artists and gallerists from around the world. This time, ARCOmadrid, will reunit 201 galleries from 27 countries, participating in general program, and in curatorship, 150 professionals and 250 collectors. Some of the largest attractions will be Focus Turkey, a section that will have the collaboration of Turkey Embassy in Spain, and the participation of curators Vasif Kortun and Lara Fresko. There will be private collections as Cranford, in Santander Bank Foundation, Cisneros Collection in Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofia, and Collection House of Alba in Centro Centro. This edition ARCOmadrid has developed initiatives inside of the technological environment, with the creation of an online market, and the launching of a debate space in Internet: ARCO Collect online.
Another digital novelty is the signaling of highlighting artists in each gallery with the code BiDi. There is a program called First Collectors, coordinated by Elisa Hernando, which brings support to visitors, who need to be assesorated in the election and buying of art iin ARCOmadrid.
