ARCHIEE STUDIO: DESIGNING JAPAN THROUGH ITS POTTERY

The Parisian design studio Archiee covered the facade of the Maison de la culture du Japon à Paris, with a work that integrates Japanese ceramics. The installation is part of the “Discover Japan”, a Japanese magazine that focuses on culture and local traditions, and aims to help promote its Paris boutique. The design is a reconstruction of the landscape of the Japanese eating tables, which includes ceramic plates called “Minou-yaki”.
