ANA ALBERO AND EVERYDAY CARTOONING

Ana Albero is a Spanish artist born in Alicante in 1979. She studied illustration at Berlin, where she founded with Till Hafenbrak and Paul Paetzel the collective Edition Biografiktion specializing in publishing independent comics. In recent years she has worked in numerous publications, also participated in solo and group exhibitions in Germany, Spain, U.S. and England. Her artwork is characterized by the use of curves and caricatures of everyday life, Albero also uses both black and white and a wide variety of colors to create characters in well-defined contexts. Universes made ​​by the illustrator are rich in small details that can drill down moments represented, as well as the personalities and roles of those who appear there.
