El iceberg emana una luz que lo llena de brillo e ilumina la habitación donde se encuentra en la Casa de Walwera en Auckland.

With this magnificent installation we can realize that we do not need to invest a lot of capital and very luxurious materials to make creative and original results. A clear example is the installation of Gabby O’Connor called “What Lies Beneath”, with hours of research behind about Antarctica despite not having visited the place. This installation has the shape of an iceberg hanging from the ceiling, is comprised of thousands of small triangles of dyed paper mainly green and blue lacquer coated. Can you imagine that the way to join the pieces was very difficult? Actually the artist only  stapled them. The iceberg emits a light that filled of brightness and illuminates the room where Walwera House in Auckland, may feel a natural atmosphere and bright blue color of the Earth, despite not being in an open area.
