Cubic Prism, the new installation of the designer and architect Akane Moriyama, it is a structure based on a cube formed by three different colored textiles which is suspended between two buildings of the University of Austin, Texas. Cubic Prism is a dynamic system that changes according to the different environmental factors such as the movement of wind and rain drops, as this nature, to be made by very soft and semi-opacity textiles gets her responds to light naturally filtered through it. In addition, it also changes its hue according to where the installation is looked. Akane Moriyama is a designer and architect currently residing in Stockholm, Sweden, and thanks to her experience in both architecture and design work accomplished textile focused on performing pieces of architecture.
