Adi Dekel is a photographer of 18 years who lives in Israel. Despite her youth, Dekel has created a large portfolio, and a distinctive style among conteporary photographers. The subjects of her portraits show a hint of melancholy subtly integrated into the landscape and the expression of vulnerability of the faces, sometimes hidden among flowers, sometimes in the clear water surface. Adi Dekel uses filters in earthy tones and subdued atmosphere for her images, and generate certain lyricism in photographic discourse, perhaps with the intent that each photo becomes a story to tell.
