Much is said about fashion as to the question of dress, but little is known about the social impact it has and its political background. Miuccia Prada does not neglect this, and its SS14 collection is invaded by an activist impulse. It should not be surprised to Miuccia, because she had a serious political facet. The presentation of the collection was entirely conceptual full complicity existed between the stage and the clothes. As mentioned by the designer “I want to inspire women to fight”. And what better to be in the “Battlefield” with style, glamor and attitude. The collection has graffiti influenced dresses, hair bands, heaters and accessories taken from everyday life in the city. Prada managed to take a bit of folk popular in Latin America and the streets of LA, encapsulate it and translate it to perfection in each of its textiles.
